NEW YORK — — Long Island newspaper The Post has released the names of two women arrested in connection with a series of violent threats and attacks that left two men in critical condition on Saturday.
The two women, identified as 22-year-old Tammie Ritchie, of Kenosha, Wis., and 27-year the other woman, identified by the paper as 22, were arrested after a search warrant was executed at their home.
The warrants were issued at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, the Post said.
Ritchie is charged with criminal threats and assault with a dangerous weapon.
The Post reported the other female was charged with menacing and resisting arrest.
Both women are from Kenos, and the Post reported that Ritchie is from Kenesaw, Wis.
She is also a student at a high school in Kenos.
According to the Post, the men were assaulted by the women in the basement of their home while they were asleep.
The two were treated at a local hospital.
The men were treated for their injuries, the paper said.
Police said the two women are in custody.
