Egyptian newspapers are a favorite among Internet users in Egypt.
The country’s newspapers, especially those that are widely read by the public, often feature the country’s leader, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, as well as the nation’s leaders and politicians.
Some Egyptian newspapers also feature popular personalities.
The Egyptian newspapers tend to be read by young Egyptians, many of whom are often frustrated by the political landscape and have been critical of Sisi and the Egyptian military in recent years.
However, in recent months, these popular newspapers have also been among the first to show some signs of support for the countrys new president, Abdel Fath al-Baghdadi.
Al-Baba’i has been widely reported to be an ally of al-Assad, the Syrian president.
The Al-Ahram Daily, the most popular newspaper in Egypt, has also been supportive of al Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden.
Al Jazeera English has also picked up on some of these stories, including the Egyptian paper that recently featured a story about al-Golani, the Egyptian minister of foreign affairs and one of the country s most prominent Islamic scholars.
